We systematically examined the mass spectra and their two-body hadronic decays of the beauty-charm meson family considering coupled channel effects. Our results can effectively explain the observed   $B_c$   meson spectrum, and the prediction of the mass spectrum for unobserved beauty-charm mesons can be tested in future experiments. Compared with previous studies, we systematically examine the beauty-charm meson family within the coupled channel components. The   $B_c$   state in beauty-charm meson family has few percent of coupled channel component, while the   $B_c$  ,   $B_c$  , and   $B_c$   states have more than ten percent of coupled channel component. The two-body hadronic decay widths of the   $B_c$   state is as narrow as 3 MeV. The two-body hadronic decay widths of   $B_c$  ,   $B_c$  ,   $B_c$  ,   $B_c$  ,   $B_c$  , and   $B_c$   are approximately 109, 67, 60, 57, 201, and 76 MeV, respectively. Furthermore, the mixing effects between   $B_c$   and   $B_c$   states are discussed.

Beauty-charm meson family with coupled channel effects and their strong decays  

Effective field theory (EFT) provides a model-independent framework for interpreting the results of dark matter (DM) direct detection experiments. In this study, we demonstrate that the two fermionic DM-quark tensor operators   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$   and   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$   can contribute to the DM electric and magnetic dipole moments via nonperturbative QCD effects, in addition to the well-studied contact DM-nucleon operators. We then investigate the constraints on these two operators by considering both the contact and dipole contributions using the XENON1T nuclear recoil and Migdal effect data. We also recast other existing bounds on the DM dipole operators, derived from electron and nuclear recoil measurements in various direct detection experiments, as constraints on the two tensor operators. For   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$  , our results significantly extend the reach of constraints on the DM-quark tensor operators to masses as low as   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$  , with the bound exceeding that obtained by the Migdal effect with only contact interactions by approximately an order of magnitude. In particular, for the operator   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$   with DM mass   $(\bar{\chi} {\rm{i}}\sigma^{\mu\nu} \gamma^5 \chi) (\bar{q} \sigma_{\mu\nu}q)$  , the latest PandaX constraint on the DM electric dipole moment puts more stringent bounds than the previous direct detection limit. We also briefly discuss the constraints obtained from experiments other than direct detection.

Comprehensive constraints on fermionic dark matter-quark tensor interactions in direct detection experiments  

Decay constants of pseudoscalar mesons D,   $ D_s $  ,   $ D_s $   and vector mesons   $ D_s $  ,   $ D_s $  ,   $ D_s $   are determined from the   $ D_s $   lattice QCD at a lattice spacing   $ D_s $   fm. For vector mesons, the decay constants defined by tensor currents are given in the   $ D_s $   scheme at   $ D_s $   GeV. The calculation is performed on domain wall fermion configurations generated by the RBC-UKQCD collaborations and the overlap fermion action is used for the valence quarks. Comparing the current results with our previous results at a coarser lattice spacing   $ D_s $   fm provides a better understanding of the discretization error. We obtain   $ D_s $   with a better precision than our previous result. Combining our   $ D_s $   MeV with the total width of   $ D_s $   determined in a recent study gives a branching fraction   $ D_s $   for   $ D_s $   leptonic decay.

Charm physics with overlap fermions on 2+1-flavor domain wall fermion configurations  

The b-factories, such as BelleII, BarBar, and LHCb, emphasize the increasing importance of exotic hadron research. In this paper, we discuss the possible production of singly anti-charmed pentaquark states   $\bar{c}q qqq$   from B mesons in a b-factory under   $\bar{c}q qqq$  (3) symmetry analysis. Discussions of both possibilities have been driven by the hypothesis that the pentaquark state considered in this work, known as the lowest lying state   $\bar{c}q qqq$  , could be bound or unbound. We find the golden channels for the production of the pentaquark ground states, such as   $\bar{c}q qqq$  . We further estimate the branching ratios for the production of the ground states   $\bar{c}q qqq$   from B meson decays. Thus, multiple channels are available for experiments, which may remove certain obstacles to the discovery of new pentaquark states.

Study of singly anti-charmed pentaquark production in -factory  

In this study, we explored the characteristics of higgsino-dominated dark matter (DM) within the semi-constrained Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (scNMSSM), covering a mass range from hundreds of GeV to several TeV. We carefully analyzed the parameter space under existing theoretical and experimental constraints to confirm the viability of higgsino-dominated lightest supersymmetric particles (LSPs) with masses between 100 GeV and 4 TeV. Our study examined various DM annihilation mechanisms, emphasizing the significant role of coannihilation with the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP), which includes other higgsino-dominated particles such as   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$   and   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$  . We categorize the annihilation processes into three main classes:   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$   coannihilation, Higgs funnel annihilation, and   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$   coannihilation. Each class combines interactions with   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$  . Our results indicate that achieving the correct relic density in heavier higgsino LSPs requires a combination of coannihilation and Higgs funnel mechanisms. We also assessed the potential of future experiments, such as XENONnT, LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ), PandaX-xT, and the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA), to probe these DM scenarios through direct and indirect detections. In particular, future spin-independent DM detections may cover all samples with the correct DM relic density for   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$   GeV. Furthermore, future colliders such as the International Linear Collider (ILC) and Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) are expected to exceed the detection capabilities of current hadron colliders, especially for higher mass NLSPs. Notably, CLIC, which will operate at 3000 GeV, is anticipated to enable thorough investigation of all samples with insufficient DM relic density for   $\tilde{\chi}^{0}_2$   GeV.

Investigating higgsino dark matter in the semi-constrained NMSSM  

The precise measurement of the W boson mass is closely related to the contributions of new physics (NP), which can significantly constrain the parameter space of NP models, particularly those with an additional   $ U(1) $   local gauge group. The inclusion of a new Z' gauge boson and gauge couplings in these models can contribute to the oblique parameters S, T, and U and the W boson mass at tree level. Considering the effects of kinetic mixing, in this study, we calculate and analyze the oblique parameters S, T, and U and the W boson mass in such NP models. We find that the kinetic mixing effects can make significant contributions to the W boson mass, and these contributions can be eliminated by redefining the gauge boson fields by removing neutral currents with charged leptons if the leptonic Yukawa couplings are invariant under the extra   $ U(1) $   local gauge group, even with nonzero kinetic mixing effects.

One method for determining the characteristic parameters of a hadron production source is to measure the Bose-Einstein correlation functions. In this study, we present fundamental concepts and formulas related to the Bose-Einstein correlations, focusing on the measurement principles and the Lund model from an experimental perspective. We perform Monte Carlo simulations using the Lund model generator in the 2–3 GeV energy range. Through these feasibility studies, we identify key features of the Bose-Einstein correlations that offer valuable insights for experimental measurements. Utilizing data samples collected at BESIII, we perform measurements of the Bose-Einstein correlation functions, with an expected experimental precision of a few percent for the hadron source radius and incoherence parameter.

Principles and prospects of Bose-Einstein correlation study at BESIII  

The paper reports an analytical formula for the production cross section of e $^{+}$ e $^{−}$ annihilation to hadrons in the vicinity of a narrow resonance, particularly in the τ-charm region, while considering initial state radiation. Despite some approximations in its derivation, comparison between the analytical formula and direct integration of ISR shows good accuracy, indicating that the analytical formula meets current experimental requirements. Furthermore, this paper presents a comparison of the cross section between the analytical formula and calculations using the ConExc Monte Carlo generator. The efficiency of the analytical formula in significantly reducing computing time makes it a favorable choice for the regression procedure to extract the parameters of narrow charmonium resonances in experiments.

Analytical formula for the cross section of hadron production from    Collisions Around the Narrow Charmouinum Resonances

We calculate the form factor   $M(q^2)$   for the Dalitz decay   $M(q^2)$   with   $M(q^2)$   being the SU(  $M(q^2)$  ) flavor singlet pseudoscalar meson. The difference among the partial widths   $M(q^2)$   at different   $M(q^2)$   can be attributed in part to the   $M(q^2)$   and quark mass dependences induced by the   $M(q^2)$   anomaly dominance.   $M(q^2)$   in both   $M(q^2)$   is well described by the single pole model   $M(q^2)$  . Combined with the known experimental results of the Dalitz decays   $M(q^2)$  , the pseudoscalar mass   $M(q^2)$   dependence of the pole parameter   $M(q^2)$   is approximated by   $M(q^2)$   with   $M(q^2)$   and   $M(q^2)$  . These results provide inputs for future theoretical and experimental studies on the Dalitz decays   $M(q^2)$  .

Form factor for Dalitz decays from / To Light Pseudoscalars  

An analysis of the off-shell   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   decay width is presented for both unpolarized and polarized   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   gauge bosons in the scenario with the most general   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   vertex function, which is expressed in terms of two   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  -even (  $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   and   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  ) and one   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  -odd (  $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  ) anomalous couplings. The SM contributions to the   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   coupling up to the one-loop level are also included. Explicit analytic results for the unpolarized and polarized   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   square amplitudes and the four-body phase space are presented, out of which several observable quantities can be obtained straightforwardly. Regarding numerical analysis, a cross-check was performed via   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  , where our model was implemented with the aid of FeynRules. We then considered the most stringent bounds on anomalous complex   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   couplings and analyzed the effects of the polarizations of the   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   gauge bosons through the polarized   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   decay width as well as left-right and forward-backward asymmetries, which were found to be sensitive to new-physics effects. Particular focus was put on the effects of the absorptive parts of the anomalous   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   couplings, which have been largely overlooked up to now in LHC analyses. It was found that the studied observable quantities, particularly the left-right asymmetries, can be helpful to search for effects of   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $  -violation in the   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   coupling and set bounds on the absorptive parts. For completeness, we also analyzed the case of unpolarized   $ H^\ast\rightarrow ZZ \rightarrow \overline{\ell}_1\ell_1\overline{\ell}_2\ell_2 $   gauge bosons.
