A new technique is developed to identify dielectrons (<math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup></mrow></math>) with Lorentz boost <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>γ</mi><mi mathvariant="normal">L</mi></msub><mo>&gt;</mo><mn>20</mn></math> that produce one single merged cluster in the electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMS detector. The identification uses two multivariate models: one for the case where both electron tracks are reconstructed, and another where only one of the tracks is reconstructed. The efficiency is determined using proton-proton collision data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. Boosted <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>J</mi><mo>/</mo><mi>ψ</mi></math> mesons decaying into <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>e</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>+</mo></mrow></msup><msup><mrow><mi>e</mi></mrow><mrow><mo>−</mo></mrow></msup></mrow></math> pairs are used to estimate the efficiency of the model with two tracks, yielding an overall efficiency of 80%. The <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>Z</mi><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>μ</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>μ</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><mi>γ</mi></math> events, where the photon converts into a collimated dielectron, are used for the model with a single track, yielding an efficiency of about 60%. A dedicated energy correction for dielectron candidates is also developed using <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msup><mi>B</mi><mo>±</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mrow><mi>J</mi><mo>/</mo><mi>ψ</mi></mrow><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>±</mo></msup><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><msup><mi>K</mi><mo>±</mo></msup></math> data.

Highly boosted dielectron identification in proton-proton collisions at <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msqrt><mi>s</mi></msqrt><mo>=</mo><mn>13</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>TeV</mi></math>

We study quantum chaos in <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi mathvariant="normal">T</mi><mover accent="true"><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">T</mi></mrow><mrow><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mrow></mover></math> deformed two-dimensional conformal field theories with gravitational anomalies and their holographic dual descriptions in topologically massive gravity. Using pole-skipping and shock-wave analysis, we extract the Lyapunov exponent and butterfly velocity and analyze the interplay between irrelevant deformations and parity-violating dynamics. We find that the chaos bound remains saturated, while the butterfly velocity exhibits nontrivial dependence on the deformation parameter and anomaly. We also identify a Hagedorn regime in which the chaotic response becomes complex valued, signaling a breakdown of the physical branch of the deformed theory.

The decay <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>η</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>c</mi></mrow></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>p</mi><mover accent="true"><mrow><mi>p</mi></mrow><mrow><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mrow></mover><mi>η</mi></mrow></math> is observed for the first time with a significance of exceeding <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mn>10</mn><mi>σ</mi></math>. It is found by analyzing <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>2712.4</mn><mo>±</mo><mn>14.3</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo>×</mo><msup><mn>10</mn><mn>6</mn></msup><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>ψ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>3686</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo></math> events accumulated at the BESIII detector. The measured branching fraction of <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>η</mi><mi>c</mi></msub><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>p</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>p</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>η</mi></math> via <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>ψ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>3686</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>γ</mi><mi>p</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>p</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>η</mi></math> is significantly influenced by the interference between the resonant <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><msub><mi>η</mi><mi>c</mi></msub></math> decay and the nonresonant process <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mi>ψ</mi><mo stretchy="false">(</mo><mn>3686</mn><mo stretchy="false">)</mo><mo stretchy="false">→</mo><mi>γ</mi><mi>p</mi><mover accent="true"><mi>p</mi><mo stretchy="false">¯</mo></mover><mi>η</mi></math> and is measured in both constructive- and destructive-interference scenarios.
